Detectives working on Operation Castle, Merseyside Police’s ongoing response to burglary across the county, have charged a man with an offence last year in Pensby.

18-year-old Peter McNoon from Birkenhead was charged with a burglary which occurred in Rosemead Avenue on 20 October 2018, in which entry was forced to a house and electrical items, jewellery and car keys were stolen. A Mini Countryman was stolen and subsequently recovered in the Birkenhead area.

Following enquiries, McNoon was produced from prison yesterday and charged with the offence. He has been returned to prison and will next appear on Wednesday 8 May at Wirral Magistrates Court.
