Merseyside Police is appealing for information following a burglary in Caldy in which designer handbags and jewellery were stolen and may be offered for sale locally.

At around 10pm on Sunday, 16 September, the occupiers of a house in Kings Drive, Caldy, returned home to find that unknown persons had forced entry and stolen a number of handbags, electrical items, an earring and a gold ring.

CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing and detectives are issuing descriptions of the items and appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The items stolen are as follows:

Louis Vuitton handbag
Louis Vuitton mini handbag
Hermes clutch bag
Langchamp foldaway bag
Mui Mui bucket bag
Paul Smith clutch bag
Stella McCartney shoulder bag
YSL clutch bag
Beats Mixer and Beats Solo 2 headphones

Detective Constable Jonathan Head said: “We are issuing these descriptions in the hope that somebody recognises the items, either having been offered them for sale locally, or having seen them advertised online or in any shops.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone in the Kings Drive area between 7pm and 10pm on Sunday, who saw anyone acting suspiciously, saw a car unfamiliar to local residents, or who may have home CCTV or dashcam that has captured potentially vital evidence to assist with our enquiries. Come forward with any information and we will do the rest.”
